I was reminded that in today's world things are ever changing. To survive as a system and as an informed person we must always be looking and be receptive of new things and new ways to old things better. All in All I have learned a lot of new things that will help me in my job and some things for my home use.

I like to read so even though Overdrive and NetLibrary may help people that like to use their computers for everything or have a portable reader. I like to have a book in my hand mostly pocketbooks.

I find that Merlin podcasting learning link has podcasts that are informative for Library related information. Podcast.net has a very diverse array on podcast sites available.

YouTube has a lot videos that are funny and some that not. They also have some that are very informative.

I like Library Thing. It lets me share my taste in reading matter with other people. It also lets know other people views on what I read

I took a look at ZoHo and found a new friend. This site will let me do work anywhere without having to be on my home PC.

Library and Web 2.0 shows us that we have to be open to change and to be able to quickly to survive in todays ever changing world.

The RSS feeds are a easy way to get information with just a click at the top of a page.
The information is there just what I need when I need it.

I was not able to view "Learning 2.0" on technorati . I was able to see the vast quantity of blogs out there. It is good to know that I'm just a click away from finding thousands of blogs so easy.

This would be useful to me for sharing information between members on a committee that can't meet but need to share information.

Rollyo seems to be quick way to search multiple sites of interest in the shortest of time.

I find that Library Thing is really kool. In will be able to see what others are reading. Others will able to give me feed back. My list is in the side bar of my blog

I have looked at a couple of library-related blogs . I found the Merlin site was pretty interesting. What a surprise to find that Beth Tribe had written a post. This the kind of thing that makes going to this site interesting. Also to see what other people in like situations as myself are facing.

I have just discovered what a wiki can do. I think it will be helpful whenever a group needs to plan an event,need volunteers or anything that is group related.

I find it truly amazing what pictures and technology is out their to enhance my blog and other online sites. I'm not sure that I will use it but do like to know it is available. I never know what a Patron may want to know.

Thing#2Lifelong Learning

I consider myself a lifelong learner. I like to read and learn new things or new ways of doing things.

I read everyday and I always have a book nearby. If I am not reading I will have a puzzle ready to
be worked on. The News and Sports" Channel are programmed on my radio. It also helps to be
curious.
